Earlier this month, the Department of Homeland Security announced the inception of their Campus Resilience Pilot Program. The Campus Resilience program is a joint venture with the Department of Education and the Department of Justice, aiming to make university campuses “more safe, secure, and resilient.” DHS is now beginning an applications process to select 6 universities across the United States to participate in the pilot program. The program is being created in response to a recommendation by the Homeland Security Academic Advisory Council.
